Swedenborg Chapel

Even the smallest moment of our lives involves a series

of consequences extending to eternity. Each moment is like

a new beginning to those that follow.

This is a 9-week online course on the Gospels, beginning February 6.  It is a thorough study of the Gospels, based on Mark, but with reference to the other three Gospels.  His perspective will be from a Swedenborgian point of view.  Swedenborg emphasized that doctrine is to be drawn from

This new ministry is a coming home for me.  I left a ministry to the community in sunny southwest Florida, to come home to the Cleveland area to be with my family and friends.  This is an exciting time of reawakening to the gifts given to me in the foundations of my life, especially my spiritual life.

The Cleveland area is where I spent the first 40 years of my life and where my spiritual life in the Swedenborgian Church began.  I am grateful for God leading me on the path that led me to this wonderful, Christian church.   I feel so very blessed for the love, open-mindedness and acceptance of all spiritual paths that this church offered to me when I first found them in Cleveland…and then I discovered how much the church had to offer with answers to my spiritual questions.  It was and continues to be heavenly!

I have been “blessed” with a curious mind that loves to seek out answers and try out different things.  My adult spiritual journey began with a 12-step program for which I am eternally grateful.   Along my path, I have experienced and integrated Native American spiritual teachings, Buddhist teachings and mindful yoga, energetic healing and body work, and the training and “soul-full” work and experience as a hospital chaplain.

I hope that you will join us to refresh and renew your spirit and to be a part of expressing God’s love to the communities here in the Cleveland area.  I pray that the Lord will be born anew in your hearts this year and will be expressed anew in your life, also.  Let the Lord guide you, mold you, and use you for new work to others.  Whether you start anything new, move to something new,  or come to your “same old life” with new thoughts and new attitudes of love and service; The Lord can make all things new!  Amen.  Aho.

Blessings to you,

Rev. Nadine Cotton
