If your are planning a wedding, we invite you to consider our wedding chapel, a ministry of the Swedenborg Chapel, which offers a religious setting for those who do not have a church home. Our staff will do all they can to help make your wedding day a joyous and memorable experience. We would be honored to be a part of your lives at this significant time.

We respect the individuality of all people and we extend acceptance and respect for the integrity of your relationship. Our wedding ministry operates on a nondenominational basis. We meet with each couple to plan their unique wedding ceremony. In this way we help you to celebrate the uniqueness of your relationship.

Whether the simplest or most formal ceremony, your wedding will receive special attention. Our staff is available to help you with many details including the section of taped or live music.

The Richness of Marriage

We believe that neither the marriage license nor the ceremony makes a marriage, but rather it is defined by the trust, respect, deep affection, friendship and support the couple give to each other. The wedding ceremony serves as a rite, a celebration of people moving from one way of life to another. We believe that marriage is a loving relationship which continually grows in intimacy, understanding and individual fulfillment.

This marriage relationship can open the door to a new unity, whereby your own uniqueness and individuality may be supported and continue to grow. This unity appears as you each bring from your own background and experience what you have been, and blend them into what you are becoming.

Your marriage relationship offers you the opportunity to complement each other and grow together in vision and purpose. Walk down the same road together, but let each of you explore life and develop interests of your own. Be one in love, but love the other for what he or she is becoming. Marriage in its fullness and richness becomes and ebb and flow of your very selves, an interaction, making your journey together more rewarding.

Available Wedding Sizes at the Swedenborg Chapel

The Private Wedding ($125) includes the use of the chapel for bride and groom and two to eight guests and the officiator.

The Medium Wedding ($395) is between nine to sixty-six guests and includes the use of the chapel, the officiator, ceremony planning, music and rehearsal.

The Large Wedding ($495) is between sixty-seven and one hundred and twenty guests and includes the use of the chapel, the officiator, music, ceremony planning, and rehearsal.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The chapel can accommodate maximum of one hundred and twenty guests. Please click on the thumbnails below to see different views of the chapel.

Your wedding date and time will be confirmed when you have filled out the reservation form and paid the partially refundable deposit.

The balance of your contribution is due at the wedding rehearsal.

A member of the chapel staff will meet with you to plan your personalized ceremony.

One of the staff is always available to perform your ceremony. Should you choose, your own minister, priest or rabbi may officiate.

The chapel premises are reserved for your use from one hour before to one hour after your scheduled wedding time.

For your convenience, a dressing room is available for the bridal party.

The Golden Rule !

In fairness to other couples whose weddings and other appointments are scheduled the same as yours, wedding rehearsals and weddings need to start on time.

We encourage couples to arrange for their wedding as far in advance as possible to allow a good selection of dates and times.
